Lloyds Engineering Works Limited was formerly known as Lloyds Steel Industries. It was established in year 1974. The Company is into designing and manufacturing of heavy fabrication, machine building unit at Murbad, Thane Dist. Maharashtra. Work shop is located at Murbad District Thane approx 100 KMS away from Head office in Mumbai

Designer and Manufacturer of Heavy Equipment, Machinery and Systems for Hydro Carbon Sector, Oil & Gas, Steel Plants, Power Plants, Nuclear Plant Boilers and Turnkey Projects etc.

Lloyds Metals & Engineers Ltd. (LMEL) was incorporated under company’s Act, 1956 on 5th April 1977 as a Private Sector Company in the name of Nagarjuna Metals and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. The company was converted to a Public Company on 9th September, 1986.

LMEL has a factory located at Ghugus, Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. LMEL is in to the business of manufacturing Sponge Iron which is a main raw material for manufacturing steel. LMEL is into business of Generation of waste heat captive power plant.

Presently LMEL is also into iron ore mining process in Gadchiroli at Surajgarh for captive generation of Hematite iron ore which is the biggest operating iron ore mine in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra
